All members of the Turkmen team that took part in the 55th International Chemistry Olympiad, held in the largest city of Switzerland – Zurich, became its winners and were awarded with the coveted medals.

The national intellectual team of our country included four high school students from Saparmurat Turkmenbashi secondary specialised boarding school of Ashgabat. The team was headed by its representative, a chemistry teacher Nazar Mammedov. Yhlas Jumayev became the winner of the silver medal, the other three Turkmen participants, Yakub Annaorazov, Begzada Annayev and Aygul Atajanova were awarded with bronze medals.
