In Turkmenistan, the infrastructure of transport and transit corridors is intended for improving the country’s economic performance. The establishment and integration of the industry into the transnational transport and transit network is a priority in improving this sector of Turkmenistan’s economy. Consistent measures are taken to fulfil these tasks, building up capacity of road transport services in our country.
Transnational corridors, as a key mechanism for cooperation among the countries of Eurasia, are one of the modern formats to develop global transportation with the natural growth of productive forces in the modern world economy. They are given a special place in fulfilling the tasks of expanding interstate economic, cultural and other ties, creating an international infrastructure that has uniform technical parameters and applying all transportation technologies.
