The winners of the Ýylyň parlak ýyldyzy (Shining Star of the Year) annual music contest were announced. The final round took place at Alp Arslan National Drama Theatre in Ashgabat on December 16. The winner is vocalist Gylyçdurdy Durdyyev, who got the top marks from voters and won the Grand Prix.
