Autumn is the season when our body faces new challenges. As temperatures decrease and we start losing daylight, the risk of colds increases. Therefore, it is important to take measures to improve the immune system and prevent diseases during this period.

To boost the immune system, it is important, first of all, to follow the rules for healthy living, including proper nutrition, which is the foundation of the strong immunity. Include foods rich in vitamins and minerals in your diet. For example, vitamin C is found in citrus fruit, kiwi, broccoli and sweet peppers. Vitamin D is found in fatty fish (salmon, herring), egg yolks and mushrooms, and zinc – in seafood, meat, pumpkin seeds and nuts. Kefir, yogurt, sauerkraut and fermented foods are rich in probiotics.
