Early in the morning of April 10, in all the mosques of their native Motherland, Muslim believers perform “baýram namazy” – a festive prayer service in honour of the end of the holy month of Oraza, symbolising prosperity, spiritual purity and high morality. Believers ask the Almighty to send success in the activity of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the sake of universal progress, prosperity and a happy life of our people. They thank the Almighty for the fact that, as in previous years, Oraza Bayramy (Eid al-Fitr), a bright holiday of breaking the fast to mark the end of the 30-day fast in the month of Oraza, came to the ancient Turkmen land and to the homes and hearts of the Turkmen people and all Muslims of the world. By the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan “On the Celebration of Oraza Bayramy”, this holiday is celebrated in order to further strengthen the unity, harmony and cohesion of people in the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, to respect centuries-old traditions and customs and to preserve our spiritual wealth.
