In the capital of Malaysia, the city of Kuala Lumpur, which is considered one of the largest centres of the country and the most rapidly developing megacities of Southeast Asia, the International English Language Competition for schoolchildren entitled “TeenEagle” has completed its work.
Over a thousand schoolchildren from more than fifty countries of the world took part in this linguistic competition. Our country was represented at the Competition by a team of fifteen students of seventh to eleventh grade from Ashgabat specialised secondary schools 49, 83, 86, 87, 97 and 135. In total, Turkmen schoolchildren participated in various nominations of the Olympiad in three age groups and won 32 prestigious awards. Among them are ten honorary Grand Prix, six gold, five silver and eleven bronze medals. Thus, some children became winners of several awards at the same time.
