The legendary, glorious land of the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains – a new city of Arkadag, is being built there. It was about those lands that the ancient Greek geographer and historian Strabo wrote at the turn of the new chronology, “Having captured all the cities of Hyrcania, Alexander the Great reached the area called Happy Population.”
