Multifaceted Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Foundation Presented to World Community

A Turkmen delegation took part in the 57th Session of the Commission on Population and Development, which was held at the UN Headquarters in New York (USA) on April 29-30. The special theme of the session was “Assessing the status of implementation of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development and its contribution to the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. A plenary meeting of the UN General Assembly was convened on April 29 simultaneously with this event to mark the 30th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) at the initiative of the President of the UN General Assembly to review and evaluate the progress towards the implementation the ICPD+30 Programme of Action at the global level.
