On these autumn days, the Turkmen people and all humanity are celebrating the 300th birth anniversary a great Turkmen poet Magtymguly Pyragy. The great son of the Turkmen nation, Magtymguly Pyragy is not only an exceptionally gifted poet, thinker and social philosopher of the 18th century, but also our contemporary who has an exceptional place among the Turkmen people though he lived 3 centuries ago.
This year, the theme of which is «The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy», conferences, creative and roundtable meetings, exhibitions and concerts are held all over the country and abroad to mark the birth anniversary of the outstanding Turkmen poet, philosopher and thinker.
