The outcomes of the historic meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, which was held in Ashgabat on September 24, and the nationwide celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the sacred independence of Turkmenistan convincingly evidence that in the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, the innovation-driven large-scale modernisation of all spheres of life under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov is taking place.

Women, who have been taking an active part in the socio-political, socioeconomic, cultural and humanitarian life of our country from the first days of independence, make a great contribution to these historic achievements. In this regard, it is appropriate to quote the President of Turkmenistan, “Today the state provides women with all kinds of benefits and creates conditions conducive to their worthy life and constructive labour, ensuring gender equality at the legislative level, as one of the crucial factors of the sustainable development of society. Our country takes consistent measures to ensure their rights and interests, to support the family and to protect motherhood and childhood.”
