On April 25, 2022, a conference was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan dedicated to the awarding of the International Certificate to the city of Ashgabat for assistance and contribution to the initiative of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe «Trees in Cities Challenge» through greening campaigns.

The conference was attended by representatives of international organizations working in Turkmenistan, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of the country, as well as representatives of the national media.
