Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan
Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council to consider the results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies for January-August of the current year. The agenda also included issues of ensuring security and peace in independent Turkmenistan, strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, and further improving their activities. The first to speak was Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev, who reported on the work carried out in the National Army since the beginning of the year, the fulfillment of the instructions given by the head of state to strengthen the country’s defense capability. A report was also made on the measures being implemented to develop the activities of subordinate structures in accordance with the realities of the time, creating appropriate conditions for the service and life of military personnel.
