Young citizens of Turkmenistan who needed complex and urgent medical care have undergone the treatment and rehabilitation courses and surgeries, including those that have never been performed in our country before. The leading foreign experts, for the most part from Germany, were engaged in providing consultations and sharing experience with their Turkmen counterparts. All the costs associated with the medical care and rehabilitation of children were covered by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Aid to Children in Need of Guardianship.
