The new modern administrative centre of the Ahal velayat has become a symbol of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State and testifies both to the economic power of our Motherland and future prospects for its rapid growth. Therefore, it is not accidental that the administrative centre of Ahal velayat has been named the city of Arkadag and this is an event of historical significance, inscribed in golden letters in the glorious annals of our country.

The ultra-modern city combines the natural landscape of the area, the national colour of Turkmen architecture and the best world experience in urban planning. It is important to note that environmentally friendly materials are used in the construction of the city, which ensures the preservation of a favourable environment. In the city of Arkadag, educational, healthcare and cultural institutions, parks and public gardens, residential buildings, modern administrative buildings and branches of national banks have already been built. A special response in the hearts of all compatriots was caused by giving the names of outstanding personalities, whose life path is an excellent example of faithful service to the Motherland and people, to educational institutions, healthcare and culture and to an art monument built in the new city.
