Comprehensive work is underway to widely promote the national values of the Turkmen people in independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan thanks to the great concern the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. This work is reflected in the fact that the Turkmen Alabay Day is widely celebrated on the last Sunday of October every year.

To date, the Ahalteke horses, the Turkmen carpets and alabays represent the national values. Thus, the popularity of the loyal, brave, faithful Turkmen alabays is increasing every year. Moreover, scientific and practical conferences, exhibitions, beauty contests for the Turkmen alabays and other international events are held in the country on a regular basis. The international contest ‘Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy’ was organized on the Turkmen Alabay Day this year. 10 alabays took part in the final stage of the international competition held at the Turkmen Alabay International Association. Thus, Akgush was awarded the title ‘Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy’.
