There are many natural monuments on the territory of our vast and sunny country, which gives ample opportunities for expanding the geography of the main directions of domestic tourism in the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State.

In this regard, of high interest are hilly mud volcanoes, the ridges of which, forming a chain, stretch along the coast from the littoral Esenguly etrap all the way to the Cheleken Peninsula (at present Hazar). Among them are the “twins” Akpatlawuk and Gokpatlawuk and Chekishler, Keymir, Tuynukli, Porsy and Gaynagdepe, which differ in the depth of the crater and the height of the hill. There are a total of about 30 mud volcanoes on the territory of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen coastal residents called them “patlawuk”, which, in particular, is stated in the book of the Hero-Arkadag “Turkmenistan – the Land of Healing”.
