Young people earn the trust

Education of the inspired, polite, smart, and patriotic younger generations is a priority of the state policy implemented by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The youth policy, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and successfully conducted by the President of Turkmenistan, ensures favourable conditions for development of young people, and for education of the physically and mentally healthy individuals. Their intellectual, creative, and spiritual potential is aimed at the benefit of society and country. The revival of the new epoch of the powerful state is the time when independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan confidently moves forward on the path of development. This fact is conditioned by the high level of education, scientific research, and wide introduction of innovations in all spheres of life. Young people play a key role in the implementation of the ‘Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State: the National Programme on Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052’.

An exemplary work

It should be noted that the efforts of our independent, permanently neutral country to ensure global peace and sustainable development, based on the humanitarian traditions of the Turkmen people, are greatly supported by the world community. The book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’ by our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov includes very exciting memories of the meetings with the outstanding politicians who warmly supported the work of the Turkmen state in this area and contributed to the development of the country. In the chapter ‘Motherland – Mother's Soul’, the National Leader of the Turkmen people shared the thoughts about the lives of his beloved mother and father – Ogulabat eje and Malikguly aga. The Turkmen people have always cherished the principle of lovingly remembering a good person. Our Hero-Arkadag wrote, ‘My mother dedicated her meaningful life to her country, her family, and her children's upbringing. She represented a high example of patriotism, humanity, philanthropy, loyalty to family, and love for national values. Diligence and determination, kindness and hospitality, willingness to help others, loyalty to family values were distinctive features of her character. Her entire life was linked to the life of the people’.

Trust in the youth is trust in the future

As is known, our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov have great trust in the youth. From this point of view, meetings with the youth, mass training sessions, and participation of young people in important political and social events, state councils, became a cherished tradition in our independent, permanently neutral country. Taking into account the national principles inherited from the ancestors, the Turkmen people acquire the world experience and successfully implement large-scale transformations in the digital education system and the advanced teaching of foreign languages. The younger generations have respect for the past and build the bright future, because a country where the past, history, and historical figures are respected has a bright future. Thus, the scientific, educational and cultural centres in the city of Arkadag were named after outstanding personalities. The name of Aba Annaev, a well-known equestrian, was given to the International Equestrian Academy. The secondary vocational school located in the city of Arkadag was named after Berdimuhamet Annaev, a talented teacher and patriot. The names of Sachly Dursunova, a Doctor of Medicine, Gorogly, a national hero of the Turkmen people, and Dovletmammet Azadi, a great thinker and poet, were given to the medical secondary vocational school, to the state equ

Reflection of the

The book provides information about great achievements of our Motherland, important events in the history of the country, the spiritual and moral values of the Turkmen people that have been passed down from generation to generation over the millennia, and the wise thoughts and views of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero-Arkadag. First, it should be noted that the literary works by our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reflect the noble humanistic principles of our people.

Pride and happiness

As is known, the opening of the city of Arkadag, which is the largest urban construction project in our country and in the region, was held with great enthusiasm. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the construction of the new city vividly demonstrated the growing economic potential of our country and the high level of preparation of the Turkmen specialists. The construction of the city, located in a beautiful corner at the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains, was launched thanks to the wise initiatives of our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in 2019. The construction of a modern smart city in such a short period has become an effective indicator of the economic power and potential.

A generous gift

As is known, the Turkmen people warmly welcome every work by our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’ by the National Leader of the Turkmen people became a generous gift for our compatriots. The new book provoked great joy and pride in the hearts of our people on the eve of the opening of the city of Arkadag, which has no analogues in the region. The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted at the Third Meeting of the Elders’ Council under the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Aid to Children in Need of Guardianship that he had finished writing the book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’. Our Hero-Arkadag emphasized, ‘I think a lot about the episodes of my life, meetings, and destinies of people. I shared my thoughts in my new book. I also described the events of my work trips, meetings with prominent political figures of the world, and pleasant memories in the book. Life is a long way. There are still a lot of ideas and thoughts. That is why I believe that the book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’ will have a continuation’.

Gift to the library from Japan

«7/24 tm» № 29 (164) 17.07.2023 In Turkmenistan, the expansion of information interaction between various countries, international book exchange and exchange of information resources are becoming increasingly large and reaching a new level. Thus, within the framework of the "Read Japan Project", which is realized by The Nippon Foundation, to the State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan was given 156 books written in English as a gift. Their themes are related to the culture, history, economy, modern and popular art of the Land of the Rising Sun. The exhibition stands of books about Japan prepared by the library staff aroused great interest among the participants of the event.

Success of the youth policy

The concern for the youth is a priority of the state policy to modernize the national economy and to strengthen the basis of a democratic and legal state in the current period of development. Thus, the sustainable development depends on the youth. The state youth policy includes a system of social, economic, political, scientific, educational, cultural, organizational and legal measures aimed at observing the rights, legal interests and freedoms of young people and ensuring their support. In the new book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’, our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the preparation of a draft version of the Law of Turkmenistan on the State Youth Policy, noted that it was based on the idea that, first, it was necessary to know the opinion of young people in all corners of the country and to take into account all the issues that interest them, and shared his memories of the meetings with compatriots of different ages. The home of a happy childhood

As is known, teachers and educators in the primary and secondary schools conduct important work for young people to have decent education. In particular, they make effective use of various resources and methods and organize interesting lessons based on the principles of national pedagogy. The innovative multimedia technologies of the digital system are widely used to educate and entertain children. The national legislature protects children’s rights in the country. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov creates wide opportunities for our young citizens. Excellent conditions are created for the peaceful, joyful and happy childhood of the younger generations. The opportunities created in the summer children's health and recreation centres vividly demonstrate the above-mentioned fact. Such happiness is characteristic feature of each child in our Motherland, because Turkmenistan is the home of a happy childhood.

Our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted at the Third Meeting of the Elders’ Council under the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Aid to Children in Need of Guardianship held in the building of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan that he had finished writing the book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’ and that the book had been published. The new book is a sequel of the book ‘Ömrümiň manysy’ by our Hero-Arkadag. The humanistic principles of our people are reflected in different literary works by the National Leader of the Turkmen people. In the book ‘Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty’, the author describes the episodes and moments of life from a philosophical point of view.

The opening of the city of Arkadag and the presentation of the book ‘Arkadag City – a City of the Future’ revealed the features of this city, which has no equals in the region, and provoked the pride of our compatriots. Gardens are the peace of nature

The Turkmen people have always cherished their soil, nature, flora, fauna, and water. They took effective steps to preserve nature. First, it was forbidden to pollute and damage the soil, it was considered a sin to cut blooming trees, burn them, and pollute water. Our ancestors cleaned environment from weeds and dirt. They burned weeds and removed wastes. The excavations revealed special areas for garbage along with dwellings, storehouses, fortified towers, and kitchens in the ancient fortresses. These facts demonstrated that our ancestors had paid special attention to cleanliness. Archaeologists have proven that these areas were in small fortified towers and fortifications.

A city of national importance

The city of Arkadag is closely connected with the Turkmen capital, Ashgabat, which provides perfect conditions for its administration. The presence of executive power in the city of Arkadag demonstrates its significance. Cities of national importance are considered as separate administrative-territorial units. These cities are of particular importance in the socio-economic development of the country and regions. According to the Law of Turkmenistan ‘On the City of Arkadag’ adopted on March 23, 2023, the city of Arkadag has the special legal status of ‘a city of national importance’. In this context, according to the Decree of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan ‘On the Creation of New Etraps in the City of Arkadag’ adopted on March 18, 2023, Karizek and Gorjav Etraps were established in the city of Arkadag. According to the Decree adopted on May 10, 2023, a residential complex in Karizek Etrap of the city of Arkadag entered into official status of a settlement. The settlement was named after skilful horse breeder Aba Annaev.

Education is the light of happiness

Improvement of the national education system and modernization of its legislative base is a priority of the state policy in the revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. Thanks to the concern of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, educational institutions are provided with modern computers, equipment, interactive and multimedia technologies within the framework of improving the national education system. As is known, a draft version of the Law of Turkmenistan ‘On Education’ was adopted on June 5, 2021, to regulate the legal basis of relations in the field of education, to define the principles of the state policy, as well as the goals, tasks, work conducted in the education system and the organizational basis of its management. Education is the basis of effective and systematic activity based on the needs of the individual, society and the state in the field of preparation and training of the younger generations in Turkmenistan. The legislation of Turkmenistan in the field of education is based on the Constitution of Turkmenistan and other normative legal documents regulating education issues in our country.

New book is new guide

The book ‘Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship’ highlights the important issues. The Printing Centre of Turkmen State Publishing Service published the book in the Turkmen, English and Russian languages. The work of the Fund, which has been established at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in March 2021, is described in detail on the pages of the book. Published in the year ‘Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar’, the book provokes great interest of readers and consists of several chapters, each of which is dedicated to a specific area. These chapters are ‘Prosperity Has Its Own Terms’, ‘Alms Never Make Poor’, ‘The Value of Life Is Health’, ‘Guardianship Is Hope That Never Fades’, are ‘Guardianship Creates Solidarity’.

Awards for young scientists

Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan has recently hosted the awards ceremony for the winners of the scientific competition held among the youth of Turkmenistan. The Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan organized the prestigious competition on Science Day, which was celebrated on June 12. The members of the Government, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of the scientific community, professors and lecturers of the institutions of higher education, and students took part in the awards ceremony for the winners. The participants of the international scientific conference ‘Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State’ considering the development of mutually advantageous cooperation with the international scientific community were invited to the event as the guests of honour.

The poetry by the great thinker

The noble personality and intelligent creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy have a special place in the centuries-old history of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, as well as in the literary world of the East. Thus, the great poet and thinker made an invaluable contribution to the world culture and to the philosophy of the Turkmen people. The wise poet loved the country with all his heart and devoted his whole life to the Motherland and its well-being. Thus, the poems about the Motherland, country, and unity occupy the most prominent place among the poet's works. Magtymguly Pyragy composed a great number of poems addressing these issues. Magtymguly wrote the poems of educational character, which foster the humane qualities in young people. In these poems, he aimed to give noble advices to his contemporaries. The poet called them to being brave, generous, kind, open-handed, hospitable, and condemned those who are rude, unscrupulous, arrogant, and bad-tempered.

Our white marble capital has become one of the most beautiful and liveable cities in the eyes of the international community thanks to the historic transformations in the revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. Our white marble Ashgabat captivates with its beauty. A number of unique facilities of the Turkmen capital were included in the Guinness World Records and provoked pride of our compatriots. A number of cultural and social buildings and facilities in our country are called in honour of the capital. Ashgabat has confidently established itself in the status of a recognised centre of fruitful cooperation in sports, which has become a venue for major regional and worldclass competitions. A vivid example of this is the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, held in 2017 on the arenas of the capital’s Olympic Complex and crowned with a real triumph.
