On March 26, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the elections of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and members of halk maslahaty and Gengeshes.

These elections are another evidence of the effectiveness of the democratic system in Turkmenistan. This was an important step towards the successful implementation of democratic reforms, forming the basis of the state policy pursued under the wise leadership of the President of the country.
