In accordance with the approved schedule, farmers of the Dashoguz velayat started sowing cotton, where, due to climatic conditions, the sowing campaign starts a little later than in other regions of the country.

According to a good tradition, the beginning of the sowing season was blessed by the venerable elders. Upon saying a prayer to the Almighty for the wellbeing and prosperity of the Motherland, the Turkmen people and the head of state, they threw the first cotton seeds into the ground and then gave way to machine operators.
