The results of the III Open International Internet Olympiad among university students in the discipline “Strength of Materials” were summed up at the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering. In total, about 500 students took part in this intellectual championship, representing 37 higher schools of Turkmenistan, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, China, Tajikistan, Belarus, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, the USA, Germany, South Africa, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Italy, Romania, Austria and Ukraine.

The Olympiad was aimed at stimulating the in-depth study of natural and exact sciences and the use of acquired theoretical knowledge in the practice of vocational training. In addition, the Olympiad was intended to intensify interaction of the Higher School of Architecture of Turkmenistan and other higher educational institutions of our country with leading scientific and educational centres of foreign countries through information and communication educational technologies.
