This year, the Kurash Wrestling Federation of Turkmenistan created excellent conditions for the preparation of the national team for international tournaments, including in the 2023 World Kurash Wrestling Championship, and organized the training sessions for the Turkmen athletes abroad and in the country.

These training sessions were held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on March 12–21, in Gokdere Valley on April 1–20, at the Asian Championships in the People's Republic of China on April 25–30, in Issyk-Kul Region, the Kyrgyz Republic on July 1–15 and August 24 – September 11, the international tournament for the Issyk-Kul Cup on July 16–17, at the Asian Games (People's Republic of China) on September 23 – October 8, as well as the training sessions in the city of Arkadag on October 20 – November 22.
