Magtymguly Pyragy is a great poet and thinker who entered the history of the world literature. Turkmenistan prepares for the international celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birthday of Magtymguly Pyragy in 2024. The Mollanepes branch of the centralized library system of the Ashgabat Culture Department organizes the events in honour of the 300th anniversary of the birthday of Magtymguly Pyragy. Literary evenings, art readings, creative meetings are dedicated to the poem ‘Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy’ by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, and other cultural events are held on a regular basis.
