The key indicators of successful socioeconomic reforms and a balanced state policy include a wide choice of and access to competitive high-quality goods in the consumer market. Further steps to achieve food abundance are set forth in the Programme “Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State: The National Programme of the Socioeconomic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052” and the Socioeconomic Development Programme of the President of Turkmenistan for 2022–2028.

A key component in improving the quality of life of the people of Turkmenistan is the supply of high-quality eco-friendly food commodities. This is primarily because the quality of food determines the health of the nation, has an impact on the demographic situation and is a basic element of national security. The country is taking large-scale, consistent measures to comprehensively support domestic producers.
