Sphere of Information Services

The information services market in Turkmenistan is expanding year by year. The defining document in this area is the multi-stage Conception of the development of digital economy in Turkmenistan for 2019–2025. The effective implementation of the relevant State programme, which is provided for by this Conception, contributed to the establishment of innovative enterprises in the domestic market, among which the JAN Tehnologiýa Economic Society should be noted. This company can rightfully be called young, not only because it was founded in 2021, but also due to the fact that the entire team of the enterprise belongs to the young cohort of the population. The team, which included about sixty young graduates of domestic higher educational institutions, was the first in the country to develop and launch an online platform for watching films and TV series.

The Radiant Milestones of Great Achievements

An Important Stage in the Modernisation of the Electric Power Industry

The commissioning of the Balkan–Dashoguz high-voltage power transmission line with a voltage of 500 kilovolts and a total length of 572 kilometres and the new electrical substations, Balkan and Dashoguz with a similar voltage of 500 kilovolts each, which took place in early June of this year with the participation of the President of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov, became clear evidence of the far-sighted energy policy of the head of state on the reliable and uninterrupted supply of electricity to domestic consumers, the diversification of Turkmen electricity supplies to foreign consumers, the creation of new energy capacities, the improvement of the technical condition and the optimal functioning of distribution systems. New Products in the Domestic Industry

The development of the economy of Turkmenistan in the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State is characterised by the presence of two main features – the strengthening of the potential of the private sector and its technological transformation. In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the programmes aimed at developing our country, creating an innovative economy and digitizing all systems are being implemented successfully under the wise leadership of the President. The transition to a digital economy has allowed improving the efficiency of all sectors through using information technologies to introduce advanced methods in public administration. The esteemed President of Turkmenistan notes that “Systematic work should continue to safeguard and recognize the results of the research and intellectual activities of our scientists abroad and at the international level.” Currently, Turkmenistan is transitioning to a digital economy in accordance with the Concept of Digital Economy Development in 2019-2025. To ensure the implementation of the tasks envisaged in this Concept and develop a high-tech and competitive digital economy through the wide introduction of digital systems in the sectors of the national economy, the State Programme on Digital Economy Development for 2021-2025 and the Action Plan were adopted.

Logistics as a Crucial Economic Driver
