Preamble
The 75th anniversary session of the General Assembly is a major event in the activities of the entire United Nations system. It is intended to give an objective assessment of the role of the UN in the modern world and to consolidate its universal recognition as the most authoritative, legitimate universal international forum, the main framework of the existing system of global interaction and the guarantor of the preservation and maintenance of peace, the balance of interests on the international arena and the stability of the existing security architecture.
