OPPORTUNITIES OF DIGITAL EDUCATION

Our independent neutral Motherland that has the status of permanent neutrality pays great attention to promoting digital education. Our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov takes tremendous efforts to promote digital education in our country. Digital education appeared at higher educational institutions of our country in the past few years, though it existed earlier in various ways. Digital education, referred to as e-learning, is the creative use of digital resources and innovations while teaching and learning, as well as the teaching and learning process that entails the use of digital technologies, including in online or offline environments, and distance, hybrid or in-person modalities.

Results of Biology Olympiad Announced

The III International Internet Biology Olympiad was held at Myrat Garriyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan, which brought together over 730 students from 109 universities. 198 participants received prizes. All of them received diplomas corresponding to the places they took. The Olympiad that has become a tradition was organised in line with the Conception of Digital Education Development in Turkmenistan and the Conception of the Improvement of the Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan. It brought together participants from the universities in Russia, Italy, the USA, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Croatia, Romania, Latvia, Türkiye, China, South Korea, India, Malaysia, Iran, Belarus, Armenia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan in its competitive circles. Myrat Garriyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan has established partnerships with some of them under agreements or memoranda. For example, with the Astrakhan State Medical University (Russia). By the way, this university took the first place in the intellectual team competition, and the hosts – Myrat Garriyev University took the second place. The participants from Bukhara State University (Uzbekistan) ranked third. In total, 34 students took first places, 64 students – second places and 100 students – third places.

Higher language school in Turkmenistan receives books in Chinese language

«7/24.tm»: №48 (235) 25.11.2024 The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Turkmenistan donated the books to Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. The heads, lecturers and students of the Institute, as well as Advisor to the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan Zhong Hua, First Secretary Qian Wei and Attaché Chang Min and Li Jiangyin attended the event. The representatives of the Chinese diplomatic mission handed over textbooks, teaching aids, dictionaries and collections of works and poems by the outstanding Chinese poets to the lecturers of the Department of Oriental Languages and the students who study the Chinese language and literature during the ceremony, which took place at the Institute.

Results of Olympiad Summed up

The Turkmen State Institute of Finance became the venue for the International Open Internet Olympiad on the International Financial Reporting Standards in the Turkmen, Russian and English languages. In this intellectual contest, participants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus were worthy rivals of students from our country. Each participating university was represented by a team of four members. In total, two hours were given for completing the tasks of the Olympiad, at which students demonstrated good knowledge of the major discipline and innovative ways of solving experimental problems in financial literacy.
