On July 30, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, during which the work results of the military and law enforcement agencies for seven months of this year were discussed, and urgent objectives for the near future were identified. The agenda also included issues related to maintaining security and tranquility in our independent state, enhancing the material and technical resources of law enforcement agencies, and improving their performance.
Opening the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan gave the floor to Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev, who reported on the work done in January-July this year, the measures taken to strengthen the country’s defense capability, improve the professionalism of military personnel, and create proper conditions for the service and life of soldiers and officers. The specific topics of the report were the improvement of performance of all units of the National Army, the adoption of the best world experience in the military practice.
