Great work is underway to preserve the purity of the Turkmen alabay, to glorify this breed on the world arena, to develop and improve the national dog breeding in the revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. The construction of the dog breeding complexes, the establishment of the Turkmen Alabay International Association, and the annual celebration of the Turkmen Alabay Day on the last Sunday in October vividly demonstrate this fact.
Our happy people prepare to celebrate the Turkmen Alabay Day in the year ‘Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy’. On this remarkable holiday, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree on organizing the international contest ‘Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy’ in Ashgabat on October 27, 2024, as well as on holding the relevant competition in the field of artistic expression of the appearance of the Turkmen alabay in the works of applied and practical art, publications, photographs, and TV shows. This document has great importance in promoting the Turkmen alabay, which is the national wealth and pride of the Turkmen people.
