In the talks between the Secretary General of the United Nations and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the importance of the large-scale national and regional projects implemented by Turkmenistan, ensuring the overall energy security of the Turkmen side, the development of broad international co-operation in the transport and logistics sector, the thoughtful use of resources, climate change and the environment were discussed. The active role in the solution of important problems affecting all mankind, such as environmental protection, was emphasized.
