At the initiative of the diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, World Bicycle Day was marked with mass bicycle rides and sporting events. They took place on June 1-3. Addressing the participants of the sports actions, the heads of diplomatic missions emphasised that sports diplomacy is an important component of the foreign policy strategy of the President of Turkmenistan aimed at strengthening peace and good neighbourliness, boosting international cooperation in sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle and building an environmental culture.
