Book About the Unique Heritage of Ancient Anau

At a sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, held on March 23 of the current year, the respected President presented his new book entitled Änew – münýyllyklardan gözbaş alýan medeniýet. This joyful news filled the hearts of the people of Turkmenistan with pride, because each new work of the respected President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag increasingly elevates the international authority of our sacred Motherland and exalts the glory of the diligent Turkmen people. Cotton Sowing Starts in Turkmenistan

An important agricultural campaign – cotton sowing – has started in the country. In accordance with the schedule approved at the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 15, cotton growers in the Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary velayats began sowing on March 20. Farmers of the Dashoguz velayat are to join them on March 27. According to established tradition, the beginning of sowing was blessed by venerable elders. After reading a prayer to the Almighty for the wellbeing and prosperity of the Motherland, the Turkmen people and the head of state, they threw the first cotton seeds into the ground and then gave way to machine operators.

The Most Charming Girl of the Country

The final stage of the competition “The Most Charming Girl – 2024”, the participants of which were students of grades 2–4 of secondary schools of the country, was held at the Watan Cinema and Concert Centre in the capital. The competition among the most charming girls was organised by the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organisation together with the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the National Spring Holiday. The festive creative competition took place in several rounds and fourteen girls who won the capital, velayat and city rounds took part in the finals. It is worth noting that this year there are more participants: for the first time, two representatives from the city of Arkadag are participating in this competition.

Then in 1910, International Women’s Conference was organized in which, socialists were impressed by the American socialists and proposed the establishment of International Women’s day to appreciate the love and sacrifices of the women all over the world. Guidelines for Development and Action Strategy

Algae as the Basis of the Building Material

In recent years, the in-depth scientific study of raw materials, including aquatic biological resources, has been carried out all over the world. Not so long ago, biological resources of aquatic origin were considered only as raw materials for the production of traditional types of food, fodder and technical products. The results of the study of their composition show that they are sources of various biologically active substances that can be used for the production of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and productivity stimulants for farm animals and plants. In many countries around the world, industrial cultivation of microalgae is carried out in order to obtain biologically active substances. The main object of cultivation is cyanobacteria of the genus Spirulina, which live naturally in many countries, including the territory of our state. Research work on the in-depth study of cyanoprokaryota (cyanobacteria) is underway in the biotechnology laboratory of the Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. The purpose of the work is both the promising use of cyanoprokaryota in bionanotechnologies on the example of living building material and the identification of their diversity and distribution in the regions of Turkmenistan. National Air Carrier Expands the Geography of Flights

Following the Traditions of Friendship and Good Neighbourliness

One of the priority vectors of the foreign-policy strategy of neutral Turkmenistan, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and being successfully implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is the development of fruitful international cooperation, in which great importance is attached to humanitarian relations. In connection with the current situation in the energy sphere of the Kyrgyz Republic, the President of Turkmenistan issued an order according to which for humanitarian aid, 2 thousand tonnes of liquefied natural gas were sent to the Kyrgyz Republic in February 2024 as a sign of friendship and fraternity. Performing such noble actions is one of the important priorities of our state policy.

Resources for Industry

The oil refining industry is the crucial component of Turkmenistan’s economy. The production of new types of petroleum products, their high quality and outstanding technical and environmental characteristics are and will be a strategic goal for specialists of the Türkmennebit State Concern. Turkmen oil workers take the most responsible approach to their work, fulfilling the tasks assigned to them. In accordance with the Programme of the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan until 2030, namely the efficient use of hydrocarbon resources, the deep refining of oil and the manufacture of competitive and eco-friendly petroleum products, work is underway to manufacture high-quality oil and gas chemical products.

Clean Water for People’s Health

Speaking at the recent online government meeting, the velayat hyakims reported to the President of Turkmenistan on the measures taken to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of heating systems in social facilities and to supply electricity, natural gas and drinking water to local populations. In this context, the editorial staff decided to calculate how much human labour and energy resources must be used to support technological equipment and processes and how many hours were spent by complex multi-stage mechanisms and engineering devices so that our homes have clean and safe drinking water. To do this, I had to visit the country’s largest drinking water plant, located in the Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal velayat, that meets the water needs of Ashgabat. The plant was built by Turkish company Polimeks in 2010. Its capacity is 250,000 cubic metres of drinking water a day. Two water plants, including the first facility of that kind with a capacity of 100,000 cubic metres a day, built in previous years, are located nearby. It was built in 1969 and is still in operation. The enhancement of production capacity and the expansion of the administrative boundaries of the capital during the years of independence necessitated the construction of additional water intake and water treatment facilities and the establishment of the Ashgabatvodokanal Trust to manage them in 1995; it was renamed
