Important Tasks of Improving the Structure of the Legislative Power of Turkmenistan are Considered
At the Congress Centre in the capital city, chaired by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a joint meeting of the Halk Maslahaty and the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan was held, during which the upcoming tasks for the national Parliament were considered and key goals for the consistent improvement of law-making at a new stage of the country’s development in the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State were determined. Upon announcing the agenda of the meeting, the Hero-Arkadag emphasised the current time was an era of progress, when life did not stand still, progressively evolved and was enriched with new laws and postulates, and old conceptions were changing, acquiring a different meaning and content. Based on this, the fundamental legal base of society is also continuously bettered, which leads to the formation of its improved model corresponding to our national characteristics, the level of state development and the will of the people.
