On November 22, 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mohd Suhaimi Bin Ahmad Tajuddin. Presenting his credentials, the diplomat conveyed warm greetings to the head of the Turkmen state from the Supreme Head of Malaysia Abdullah R’iayatuddin Al-Mustafa Bill and Prime Minister Anwar bin Ibrahim, who emphasized the special importance attached to strengthening the ties of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan, which is confidently following the path of sovereign development.

On November 9, 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the 16th Summit of the Council of Heads of Countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). The Summit held in Tashkent under the motto “Together for economic stability and development” was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim-Raisi, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, Acting Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Anwaar ul-Haq Kakar. Transport Integration: Uniting the Space of Eurasia

The Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, held in Beijing, became an extremely topical and large-scale event. August 17, 2023 marks exactly 30 years since Turkmenistan has become a full member of UNESCO by ratifying the relevant document in London. The entry of the young Turkmen state, which had just declared its independence, into this authoritative international Organisation once again confirmed the recognition of the contribution of our country to the development of world civilisation. By becoming a full member of this international Organisation, our country has received the opportunity to fully integrate into the world community as a reliable and predictable partner in interstate and international cooperation.
