Naval Forces Guarding the Sacred Borders of the Motherland
The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on leave in the Balkan velayat, visited the Garşy military unit of the Naval Forces, located in the western region, and acquainted himself with a military vessel of the corvette class Deňiz Han. Guaranteeing the security of our Motherland, ensuring the reliability and inviolability of maritime frontiers in accordance with the Military Doctrine of independent neutral Turkmenistan, which is purely defensive in nature, is a key vector of the state policy. In this context, for the first time in the history of the Motherland, during the years of sovereignty, a garrison of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of the country was established.
