The President of Turkmenistan Attends the Flower-Laying Ceremony at the Independence Monument

Being solidary and united in their aspirations, the Turkmen people, whose life in the modern era is illumined by the creative inspiration, celebrated the glorious 32nd anniversary of the sacred independence of the Motherland in the year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” with a feeling of immense pride. According to the established good tradition, the main festive events began with a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Independence Monument – a majestic architectural symbol that perpetuated in the memory of current and future generations a fateful historical event, gaining sovereignty by our Motherland. The ceremony was attended by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

A working trip of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan to Arkadag city

Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan made a working trip to Arkadag city to get himself familiarized with projects of the objects planned to be constructed as well as the state of work at building sites. Besides it, Hero-Arkadag examined types of used building materials, took interest in methods of conducted work with a view of maintenance of appropriate level of the ecological environment of the new city. At present, thanks to initiatives and efforts of Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a start was given to construction of the industrial cluster of the new city - industrial complexes. All work is carried out at high rates. Efficiency and versatility of large-scale construction activities developed there reflect a harmonious development of Arkadag city.

In the Ruhiyet Palace in the city of Arkadag, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a general lesson on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth and the beginning of the new academic year, which was attended by representatives of public organisations, young professionals employed in various sectors of the economy, rectors, teachers and students of higher educational establishments of the country, schoolchildren and leaders of the media. The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Its agenda included results of the work carried out for eight months of the current year, actual tasks of social and economic development of the country and drafts of some documents. The first floor was given to Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed on results of activity for January-August months of this year on improvement of legislation of the country.

The meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, general Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the next meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda of the meeting included results of work of military and law enforcement bodies for eight months of the current year as well as issues of security and tranquillity in the independent Turkmen state, strengthening of the technical and material basis of security departments and further perfection of their activity. Secretary of the State Security Council, minister of defence B.Gundogdyev, who was the first to take the floor, reported on a set of activities taken in military units of the national army for consolidation of defensibility of the fatherland, increase of professionalism of servicemen, creation of conditions for effective service and life for officers and members of their families from the beginning of the year.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted via the digital system a regular sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which some issues of the state life were discussed and drafts of a number of documents were considered. Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.
