The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he conducted a working meeting with the participation of relevant officials and acquainted himself with the projects of road and transport infrastructure facilities. Currently, the buildings, institutions and household facilities built there as part of the first stage are functioning properly. Investments in Turkmenistan are Acquiring an Innovative Character

The Investment Forum of Turkmenistan, the International Conference on attracting high technologies and innovations to the economy of Turkmenistan “HI-TECH Turkmenistan 2024” and specialised exhibitions were held in the capital. The agenda of large-scale business events, jointly organised by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Economy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, included issues related to the implementation of major projects in the country and the further development of international cooperation in this sphere. Among the foreign delegates were international experts, heads and representatives of leading companies specialising in the oil and gas, energy, construction, transport and communications sectors, authoritative organisations, financial institutions and research centres. The participants from the Turkmen party were heads and specialists of ministries, sectoral departments, banks and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system to consider a number of issues of state life. The first floor was given the Chairperson of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova, who informed about the development of bills aimed at legal regulation of various spheres of state life. In particular, it was noted that working groups are making changes and additions to the Code of Administrative Offenses, the Tax Code, the Laws “On Automobile Transport”, “On the Ombudsman”, and “On Civil Service”.

Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council to consider the results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies for January-August of the current year. The agenda also included issues of ensuring security and peace in independent Turkmenistan, strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, and further improving their activities. The first to speak was Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev, who reported on the work carried out in the National Army since the beginning of the year, the fulfillment of the instructions given by the head of state to strengthen the country’s defense capability. A report was also made on the measures being implemented to develop the activities of subordinate structures in accordance with the realities of the time, creating appropriate conditions for the service and life of military personnel.

The Hero-Arkadag asked about the preparations for the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty and the celebration of significant dates taking an important place in the life of the country. Doctor Arkadag also walked with his grandchildren and great-grandson in the world-class sanatorium Arçman, surrounded by green spaces and distinguished by a favourable ecological climate.
