Youth is the support of the Motherland

The book ‘Ýaşlar – Watanyň daýanjy’ by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov describes the achievements of young people in the social, political, economic and cultural life of the country and the international prestige of our beloved Motherland. This literary work became an invaluable guide in educating the most active part of society in the spirit of patriotism. The book highlights the achievements, victories, and happy moments of the Turkmen youth and demonstrates that the future of our Motherland is in good hands. In the book, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the achievements of the Turkmen youth and described them as the symbols of new victories. The literary work consists of an introduction and 14 chapters to indicate the successful implementation of the initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan aimed at educating the developed, physically and mentally healthy young people, and at creating excellent opportunities for them.

The ocean of wisdom

The Turkmen language and literature are studied on a scientific basis in the year ‘Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy’. Great attention is attached to the cultural heritage of our people and its promotion. In this context, international conferences and meetings are held in the country on a regular basis. This fact creates good opportunities for exchange of experience between scientists, writers, and historians. To date, the works and poetry by Magtymguly Pyragy are read by the world community and the scientists studying the East. That is why the great Turkmen poet and thinker deserved high esteem and respect in the world. Many generations have been studying the poet's works for three centuries. Thus, his poetry has special place in the world literature. His inspiring poems promote patriotism, humanism, and enthusiasm for science.

The country of ambitious goals

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has published his first book ‘Ýaşlar – Watanyň daýanjy’. The presentation ceremonies of the literary work became the remarkable events and provoked great pride of the Turkmen people, especially the youth. TURKMENISTAN’S YOUTH STEPS ON GLOBAL STAGE AT 13th UNESCO YOUTH FORUM

In the year «Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar», representatives of Turkmenistan’s youth contributed to the work of the13th UNESCO Youth Forum, which was held at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France on November 14-15, 2023. This was an important event for Turkmenistan’s youth–they joined the global event that let them share their ideas and make connections world wide. Their participation showed the world how engaged and important Turkmenistan's youth is in shaping a better world. The development of cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is one of the priority areas of the foreign policy strategy in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state. For 30 years of cooperation, great progress has been made towards implementing the UNESCO mandate in our country, as well as increasing the cultural, educational and scientific potential.

PEOPLE-CENTRED PROGRAMME

The National Programme of the President of Turkmenistan for the improvement of social and living conditions in villages, towns in etraps and etrap centres until 2020 initiated by Hero Arkadag and often called the Village National Programme was successfully implemented since its adoption in 2007, including the implementation of complex measures in different segments of the social sphere and engineering infrastructure to improve social and living conditions of the population. The Programme covered many areas of the Sustainable Development Goals proclaimed at the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly in September 2015. These were mainly the areas linked with Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all at all ages, Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all, Goal 7: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy services, Goal 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries and Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. Concern for the younger generations

Thanks to the wise initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, an excellent system of state support has been created for raising and educating the younger generations. To date, the work in this field is being successfully implemented under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The President of Turkmenistan noted, ‘Happiness and well-being of every nation originates from the concern for the younger generations’. Educating the healthy, hardworking, and patriotic younger generations, strengthening their physical and mental health, and improving the work of educational institutions are among the main priorities of the state programmes implemented nowadays. The kindergartens, primary and secondary schools with all facilities are built and put into operation in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag and regions of the country. Educational work is being improved, and international cooperation is underway in line with the national principles and international experience.

The owners of the bright future

The Turkmen youth earned great trust in our epoch. That trust is evident in all spheres of life nowadays. The fact that 2023 was declared the year ‘Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar’ strengthened that trust and consigned the development of our country to the younger generations. Based on the proposal of the people, 2023 was declared the year ‘Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar’. This fact indicates strength, unity, stability, peace and new dynamic development for the younger generations. As is known, cooperation for the benefit of the youth has reached new level. The adoption of the Strategy for International Cooperation of the Youth of Turkmenistan for 2023–2030, approved by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan and aimed at the development of the international youth cooperation based on the national laws and international agreements, was a significant event in this context.

The training sessions

The Table Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan organized the training sessions in Ashgabat. The Federation held this important event thanks to the support of the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan and the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace and Constructive International Cooperation

The capital hosted an International Forum entitled “Dialogue – a Guarantee of Peace”, timed to coincide with the International Day of Neutrality and the 28th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s gaining permanently neutral status. The date December 12, 1995 has special significance for the independent Motherland, marking a new era in its history. On this day, the General Assembly of the United Nations unanimously adopted a special Resolution “Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan” – an unprecedented document that approved our country’s unique international legal status, the first in world practice. Embodying the wise philosophy of life and primordial humanistic traditions of the Turkmen people, this status is also fully consistent with the universal values enshrined in the UN Charter.

Books represent spiritual treasure

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attaches great importance to reading of books, which represent the source of wisdom, and to the work of libraries, the treasuries of wisdom. High level of reparation

This year, the Kurash Wrestling Federation of Turkmenistan created excellent conditions for the preparation of the national team for international tournaments, including in the 2023 World Kurash Wrestling Championship, and organized the training sessions for the Turkmen athletes abroad and in the country. These training sessions were held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on March 12–21, in Gokdere Valley on April 1–20, at the Asian Championships in the People's Republic of China on April 25–30, in Issyk-Kul Region, the Kyrgyz Republic on July 1–15 and August 24 – September 11, the international tournament for the Issyk-Kul Cup on July 16–17, at the Asian Games (People's Republic of China) on September 23 – October 8, as well as the training sessions in the city of Arkadag on October 20 – November 22.
