Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims to consider the progress of seasonal field work in the regions and the implementation of tasks envisaged by the National Rural Program. The first floor was given to the khyakim of Ahal velayat S. Soltanmyradov, who reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the region.

National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan held a working meeting

Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with participation of Managing Director of the Office of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Executive Director of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care R.Bazarov and President of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan A.Ashyrov. Issues of realisation of large-scale reforms developed in branches of national economy, maintenance of well-being and constructive work of citizens were considered. Today, the special attention is given to all-round modernisation of the national legislation, development of the latest technologies and digital system, introduction of intellectual property in manufacture at the state level. This, as Hero-Arkadag noted, makes up the main factor of development to keep pace with the time.

In the interest of friendly co-operation

On the 24th of October the President of Turkmenistan took part as the esteemed guest in «The BRICS plus out rich formation» of the 16th BRICS summit. As is generally known BRICS was formed within the limits of the Petersburg International Economical Forum in 2006 and since that time it became one of the authoritative organizations of the world. Turkmenistan takes part in the summit of the organization «The BRICS plus out rich formation» for the first time. This summit held under the chairmanship of Vladimir Putin, the President of Russian Federation gave the possibility for open dialogue for the co-operation member countries of organization «The BRICS plus out rich formation». Among the participants of the summit there are the Leaders of the countries of the Co-operation of Independent States (CIS), the leaders of the states of Asia, Africa, the Near East and Latin America, the heads of the executive bodies of international organizations.

The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider a number of issues of state policy. Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova was the first to take the floor to inform on the work carried out to strengthen the legal basis of the country at the expense of improvement of national legislation according to realities of the time. In this connection, she informed that the analysis of laws in force were carried out by means of making necessary amendments and additions according to provisions of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and standards of international law.

The meeting of the State Security council of Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country general Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular meeting of the State Security Council, at which the activity of military and law enforcement bodies for ten months of the current year was summed up. Its agenda included issues of maintenance of security and peace in our independent fatherland, strengthening of the material and technical basis of security structures and further perfection of their work. The first floor was given to Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence B.Gundogdyev who reported on practical steps undertaken for the specified period by subordinate structures with a view of successful realisation of goals defined in the corresponding Program of development. At the same time, he reported on realised measures for consolidation of defensibility of our fatherland, introduction of digital system and re-equipment with the latest equipment of units of the national army, increase of professionalism of officers and soldiers.

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who was on a working visit to Kazan, met with the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov.
