In Turkmenistan, construction work is on the rise. This year alone, several dozen large facilities are to be put into operation in our country. These include social, residential and industrial facilities that will blend well with the architectural ensemble of not only the white-marble capital, but also of all the cities in our Motherland. Industrial climbers, who have conquered the peaks of the Kopetdag Mountains, help maintain the beauty of skyscrapers. The mountain climbers, who take care of the architectural decoration of high-rise buildings today, are the industrial climbers of the Owadan Arzuw Individual Enterprise, founded in 2014. President of Turkmenistan Conducts a Working Meeting via the Digital System

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev, who supervises the agroindustrial complex, and the hyakims of the velayats, at which the progress of agricultural work in the country was considered. National Air Carrier Expands the Geography of Flights

On February 16, the first flight took off from the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, to the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was carried out by the Türkmenhowaýollary Airlines. Passengers of the Boeing 777-200 LR at Jeddah International Airport were warmly greeted by the head of Jedco Airports Group, the head of SGS, which provides ground handling for Saudi aircraft, and the business manager of the United Aviation Company and were cordially congratulated on the establishment of regular air communication from Turkmenistan to Saudi Arabia. Representatives of the Turkmen party expressed gratitude to their Saudi colleagues for the hospitable welcome. In a brief conversation, the parties noted that regular flights would contribute to the development of the interstate relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

300th Birth Anniversary of Magtymguly Fraghi Anniversary Medal established in Turkmenistan

Best Etrap Receives President’s Award

The ceremony of presenting a well-deserved award – a $1 million prize, to the Ak Bugday etrap that won the 2023 competition for the best etrap took place in the Ahal velayat. Turkmenistan is Among the States Exploring Space

These days, many world agencies, ahead of each other, with the mark “hot news” reported that “Oleg Kononenko set a world record for total time spent in space”, “The Hero of Turkmenistan and Russia set a record for spending time in space”, “A native of Turkmenistan set world record for total stay in space” and the like. Kononenko, reflect the feelings of all Turkmen citizens and the great importance that we attach to this event.

Following the Traditions of Friendship and Good Neighbourliness

One of the priority vectors of the foreign-policy strategy of neutral Turkmenistan, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and being successfully implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is the development of fruitful international cooperation, in which great importance is attached to humanitarian relations. In connection with the current situation in the energy sphere of the Kyrgyz Republic, the President of Turkmenistan issued an order according to which for humanitarian aid, 2 thousand tonnes of liquefied natural gas were sent to the Kyrgyz Republic in February 2024 as a sign of friendship and fraternity. Performing such noble actions is one of the important priorities of our state policy.

Resources for Industry

The oil refining industry is the crucial component of Turkmenistan’s economy. The production of new types of petroleum products, their high quality and outstanding technical and environmental characteristics are and will be a strategic goal for specialists of the Türkmennebit State Concern. Turkmen oil workers take the most responsible approach to their work, fulfilling the tasks assigned to them. In accordance with the Programme of the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan until 2030, namely the efficient use of hydrocarbon resources, the deep refining of oil and the manufacture of competitive and eco-friendly petroleum products, work is underway to manufacture high-quality oil and gas chemical products.

Clean Water for People’s Health

Speaking at the recent online government meeting, the velayat hyakims reported to the President of Turkmenistan on the measures taken to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of heating systems in social facilities and to supply electricity, natural gas and drinking water to local populations. In this context, the editorial staff decided to calculate how much human labour and energy resources must be used to support technological equipment and processes and how many hours were spent by complex multi-stage mechanisms and engineering devices so that our homes have clean and safe drinking water. To do this, I had to visit the country’s largest drinking water plant, located in the Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal velayat, that meets the water needs of Ashgabat. The plant was built by Turkish company Polimeks in 2010. Its capacity is 250,000 cubic metres of drinking water a day. Two water plants, including the first facility of that kind with a capacity of 100,000 cubic metres a day, built in previous years, are located nearby. It was built in 1969 and is still in operation. The Caspian Sea — Space for Transport Integration

Transport and logistics companies, members of the Turkmen Logistics Association, took part in the third meeting on expanding the Trans-Caspian trade route. Our country views international transport and transit corridors as an important component of the national economy. The Air Routes of Turkmenistan Expand with the Newest Aircraft

A new Boeing 777-300 ER passenger airliner landed at the International Airport of the Turkmen capital. It became the second aircraft of this series, for the purchase of which a contract was concluded with the world-famous American aircraft manufacturer Boeing, in accordance with the relevant Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan. The air carrier Turkmenistan received its first aircraft in early December last year. Turkmen aviators associate the development of international passenger transportation with many countries and continents, first of all, with the operation of Boeing winged aircraft.
