The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag and acquainted himself with the work being carried out in preparation for the New Year’s celebrations, including those related to the organisation of holiday trade for the population. The Hero-Arkadag also conducted a working meeting with the participation of heads of relevant structures. These days, in the capital, the city of Arkadag and other parts of the country, large-scale preparatory activities have been launched in order to adequately celebrate everyone’s favourite holiday – the New Year’s Day. Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, the agenda of which included a number of draft documents, as well as other issues. The first speaker was Chairwoman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova, who informed about the work in progress to adopt new and improve current legislative instruments aimed at creating the legal framework for the implementation of reform programs ongoing in the country, increasing the efficiency of industries, and improving the social and living conditions of the people. In particular, the report covered the preparation of revised drafts of the Civil Code, the Laws “On hydrometeorological activities”, “On energy saving and efficient use of energy”, etc.

Early in the morning, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Monument of Neutrality – a majestic memorial complex symbolising the Motherland’s unwavering commitment to the ideals of peace, creation and goodness.

National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Inspects Progress of Work in the City of Arkadag

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag, where he acquainted himself with the layouts of land plots and draft designs of buildings and facilities. Currently, the pace of construction of the second stage of the development of the city of Arkadag is increasing thanks to the efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people. Energy sector productivity is increasing

Large-scale projects are being implemented in the country under the leadership of our Hero Arkadag Serdar. Electricity transmission networks are laid in all parts of our country, substations are built, and the energy supply system of settlements is renewed. In this field, the government continues programmatic measures to train excellent specialists and build modern institutions and enterprises, and the opportunities to send them to foreign countries are expanded. On November 3, the President of Turkmenistan was on a business trip to Balkan Velayat. There, the Turkmen leader attended the laying of the foundation of a new electric power station — a 1,574 megawatt power plant in Turkmenbashi etrap. According to the noble tradition, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave his blessing to the state work, left a memorial inscription on the foundation of the new facility and launched the construction of the power station. In the new power plant, all production operations will be automated through a digital system and connected to the control centre. Commissioning of this facility will provide the need for electric energy in the western region of the country, strengthen the energy security of the Motherland, increase the amount of electric energy sent to neighboring countries, and open new export routes. In accordance with the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, given at the recent sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system regarding the preparations for the Youth Conference and Exhibition to be held at the end of the year, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip around the capital city and visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Speaking at the government meeting, the President emphasised many unforgettable events had taken place in the life of our youth that year. The Youth Conference and Exhibition, which will be held at the end of the year, will reflect the outcomes of the versatile activities of the younger generation making a significant contribution to the development of the country and working diligently in various economic sectors; many representatives of the younger generation have won prizes at international sports competitions, held in the country and abroad, and school and student Olympiads.
