President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) Khusraw Noziri. National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Attends the Opening of a New Mosque in the City of Anau

On the territory of the Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal velayat, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening of a new mosque, where Haji Arkadag gave a sadaqah-agzachar. The deep meaning lies in the fact that the opening fell on the month of Oraza and complements the cultural events on the occasion of the proclamation of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. This is vivid evidence of the continuity of exemplary primordial traditions and humanistic principles of our people. The construction of the new mosque in the Ak Bugday etrap thanks to the successful implementation in the country under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of noble endeavours initiated by the Hero-Arkadag is confirmation that at the present time, good deeds worthily continue. This symbolises the commitment of our hardworking people to good traditions passed on from one generation to another. Activities to celebrate these glorious events demonstrate that our country is following the path of harmonious development in all directions, and the values created by our people are recognised throughout the world.

Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, which agenda included a number of state policy issues. Opening the meeting, the head of state highlighted that according to the well-established tradition in our country, on the eve of the Holy Night of Gadyr-Gidjesi, citizens who were convicted of crimes committed, but regret what they did and sincerely repent of it are pardoned. Following the principles of humanism and mercy bequeathed by our great ancestors, noble actions are carried out to release them from further punishment.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which considered some questions of state life. The first floor was given to Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Kh.Geldimyradov who reported on the next audit of financial reporting of banking establishments of the country according to the international standards. With that end on the basis of Laws of Turkmenistan «On credit institutions and bank activity» and «On auditor activity» as well as Resolutions of the head of the state «On the Program of reforming of accounting and audit in Turkmenistan» proper work was carried out.

The meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. Its agenda included consideration of results of work of military and law enforcement bodies of the country for two months of 2024 as well as definition of priority goals of security and peace in our independent fatherland, strengthening of the material and technical basis of security structures, and further improvement of their activity. Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence B.Gundogdyev who reported on complex measures taken for the January-February period for consolidation of defensibility of our fatherland, enhancement of professionalism of servicemen, creation of due conditions for effective service and life of officers and members of their families, was the first to take the floor.
