Golden Eagle — a Rare Eagle Species

The nobility of this feathered predator shines through in its appearance and manifests itself through its behaviour and habits. It is not accidental that the coats of arms of many countries feature the golden eagle that belongs to the large eagles. This rare and beautiful bird is of particular interest because it nests closer to the winter, lays eggs in February-March, and sometimes even in January – the coldest months in Turkmenistan. But the birds continue feeding the chicks after 45 days of incubation for a little more than two months during a comfortable period – in the spring, when there is a lot of food. The parents take care of the offspring until they fly out of the nest, bring the ground squirrels they have caught, sometimes hares, foxes, mountain partridges – chukars and various waterfowl. Their diet also includes turtles: these smart birds have learned to break their hard shells on the stones of deep echoing gorges or rocky mountain plateaus. They also catch monitor lizards on occasion. We should explain that this is a quite large bird. Its wingspan can be 2 metres, its claws are unmatched among eagles in size, and it can be recognised by a large “cap” on its head with elongated golden-yellow feathers. The relevance of prevention of metabolic syndrome

Garryyew Metabolic disorders such as overweight and obesity are a common problem, which is one of the pressing issues of medicine. According to WHO, the prevalence of obesity has increased by 60-80% in recent years not only among adults, but also among adolescents and children [8]. Scientists have proven that modern physical inactivity and poor nutrition contribute to the aggravation of this problem. In 1989, N. Kaplan described the "quartet of death", by combining impaired glucose tolerance (IGT), arterial hypertension (AH) and dyslipidemia, abdominal obesity in the concept of metabolic syndrome (MS) [3-6].

Hematological markers of non-developing pregnancy

Nargozel MYRATNAZAROVA, Guljahan HOJAMBERDIYEVA, Svetlana PLESKANOVSKAYADepartment of obstetrics and gynecology, Scientific-research center of SMUT named after M.Garryyev Non-developing pregnancy (NP) is one of the urgent problems of modern obstetrics, leading to 10-20% of reproductive losses [1-5]. Many aspects of NP have been well studied, and algorithms for their diagnosis and treatment have been developed. There are quite a lot of causes of NP, including genetic, inflammatory, endocrine, hemostasiological, and autoimmune factors [1, 2, 6]. However, in 20-40% of cases, the cause of fetal loss remains unclear. Particular attention should be paid to the criteria for the selection of biomarkers and their justification. In this regard, the topic of this study was chosen.

The ceremony of presentation of the new publication by our Hero Arkadag

On the 3rd of November the ceremony of presentation of the publication  of the new work «Jewel of the mind» by our Hero Arkadag took place at the Mukamlar Palace of the cultural centre of Turkmenistan. The heads of ministries and branch administrative bodies, the instructors of higher educational institutions and students  took part in the ceremony. The participants of the ceremony of presentation congratulating from the bottom of the heart the publication of the new work «Jewel of the mind» by our Hero Arkadag wished him a great success in future. Besides that, the effective speeches at the presentation ceremony increasing the feeling of patriotism of participants, called upon the citizens to work hard to develop more  our Motherland. As it was noted, the presentation of this work to our people has a great meaning before the International Neutral Day and the 29th Anniversary of our Neutrality.

On 3 December 2024, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a working trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in the ‘One Water’ Summit held within the framework of the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (COP-16). Following the unique traditions and customs of the Turkmen people, Haji Arkadag started his visit with a pilgrimage to the Holy Kaaba, visiting the city of Mecca.

Expressing satisfaction with the opportunity to discuss the priority areas of interstate relations, Hero-Arkadag and the Head of the Saudi Arabian Government underlined the rapid growth of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.

Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council sum up the results of the activities of the military and law enforcement agencies for January-November of the current year. The first to speak was Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyyev, who reported on the practical steps taken since the beginning of the year to strengthen the defense capability of the Fatherland, bringing the work of subordinate structures in line with the realities of the time through the introduction of a digital system. A report was also made on the appropriate conditions being created for the fruitful service and life of the defenders of the Fatherland, increasing the professionalism of officers, the progress of discharge from the Armed Forces and the next call-up of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service.

Birthday of a kind storyteller

The epoch dreamed of by the poet

Magtymguly Pyragy left an indelible mark on the spiritual world of the Turkmen people and created brilliant literary works, which become a spiritual value for humanity. The great poet is highly respected in our country. The concern of our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for implementation the ideas of the thinker strengthened unity, solidarity, and humanity in the international relations. The construction of monuments to Magtymguly and the publication of his poems in friendly countries indicate that the number of his admirers is growing. The ideas of the thinker were comprehensively studied and developed by the following generations. The Turkmen poets continued his literary school. In our wonderful epoch, the heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy is widely promoted in different countries of the world. To date, the name of the poet is known everywhere in our country and in many countries around the globe.

Our pride in permanent neutrality

Turkmenistan is the only and first state in the world with the status of permanent neutrality formally recognized by the United Nations. It should be noted that Article 2 of the Constitution of our country states that the legal status of neutrality is the basis for implementing the domestic and foreign policy. Moreover, the Resolution on the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan unanimously adopted by the UN General Assembly on June 3, 2015, reflected the firm adherence of the country to the legal status of neutrality and the promotion of peace-loving initiatives in the world. To date, Turkmenistan is widely known as the country that establishes friendly and mutually beneficial relations. The Turkmen people celebrate the International Day of Neutrality in unity and solidarity and realize the progress of humanitarian policy.

Significance of the national games

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, ‘Turkmenistan recognizes childhood as an important stage in a person’s life and defines the preparation of the younger generations for a full-fledged life in our society, the development of creativeness, skills, high moral qualities, patriotism and civic consciousness as priority tasks’. Thus, the national heritage, including the national games, assumes a great role in the successful implementation of the abovementioned tasks. The ancestors of the Turkmen people taught their children to play the national games to ensure that they grew up physically and mentally healthy. These games instilled in children such qualities as composure, resourcefulness, adherence to rules, decency, and patience. These virtues are the most necessary features in life for every person. Our ancestors created a school of education and used it in the upbringing of the younger generations, the brave defenders of the Motherland for centuries. The national games of the Turkmen people are one of the main aspects of this school.
