The information services market in Turkmenistan is expanding year by year. The defining document in this area is the multi-stage Conception of the development of digital economy in Turkmenistan for 2019–2025. The effective implementation of the relevant State programme, which is provided for by this Conception, contributed to the establishment of innovative enterprises in the domestic market, among which the JAN Tehnologiýa Economic Society should be noted. This company can rightfully be called young, not only because it was founded in 2021, but also due to the fact that the entire team of the enterprise belongs to the young cohort of the population. The team, which included about sixty young graduates of domestic higher educational institutions, was the first in the country to develop and launch an online platform for watching films and TV series.

New enterprise of coffee products

In the suburbs of Anau, in Magtymguly farmers’ association of the Ak Bugday etrap of the Ahal velayat, with the participation of members of the Halk Maslahaty, deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, heads of the hyakimliks of the Ahal velayat and the Ak Bugday etrap, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, representatives of public organisations and labour collectives, a ceremonial commissioning of a new enterprise for the production of coffee and coffee products of the NesilCoffee brand of entrepreneur Tejenmyrat Bayramdurdiyev, built by the Mert Ýaran private enterprise, took place. This event is another vivid evidence of the successful implementation of the policy of progressive reforms and large-scale transformations, pursued by the President of the country, that contribute to the dynamic socioeconomic development of the regions and the creation of all the conditions for the growth of the welfare of the Turkmen people.

The completed youth pop competition “Ýylyň parlak ýyldyzy” (“Shining Star of the Year”) once again demonstrated the beauty and richness of our musical culture, which has deep roots in history and is a source of inspiration, spirituality and morality. Famous composers and artists, writers and poets, cultural figures, masters of art and young people gathered to watch the final concert, which took place at Alp Arslan National Drama Theatre of Turkmenistan. The atmosphere in the hall was filled with delight and anticipation when the lights on the improvised festive stage were switched on, and the first chords of the orchestra carried the audience into the world of music and poetry.

Golden Flower

Chrysanthemum is considered the queen of the garden. Its bright colours and exquisitely graceful shapes create a special atmosphere in the garden. The homeland of chrysanthemums is Japan and China. Archaeologists found the first depiction of a chrysanthemum on Chinese porcelain made more than 2,000 years ago. The beauty of chrysanthemums is so captivating that in some countries these flowers are national emblems. For example, the chrysanthemum is depicted on the coat of arms of the imperial family of Japan, printed on the cover of a Japanese foreign passport and recognised as a symbol of the country. The chrysanthemum is depicted on fabrics, vases and dishes. Translated from Japanese, the name of the flower – “kiku” means “the sun that gives life to everything on earth”.

An invaluable guide

The presentation ceremonies of the book ‘Jewel of the Mind’, which originates from the long-term scientific research conducted by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, have become particularly significant events for educational workers. This literary work, based on scientific information, consists of two sections, namely, ‘Visit to History’ and ‘Spiritual Legacy’. The first part is dedicated to the rich history of the Turkmen people, and the second one tells about the spiritual values. The presentation ceremonies of the book ‘Jewel of the Mind’ by our Hero-Arkadag, who wrote dozens of books and fundamental scientific works and presented them to our people, are important events in the national history, and are especially valuable, first of all, for scholars in this field.

Negotiations between President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of Malaysia

Today, talks between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim took place here. As was already informed, the day before the head of the state arrived in this country with an official visit, which is called to open a new landmark in the history of Turkmen-Malaysian cooperation. In the context of development of multilateral cooperation with states of the Asian-Pacific region, Turkmenistan consistently strengthens traditional relations with Malaysia, based on principles of mutual respect. In this regard, the bilateral trade and economic partnership, which meets mutual interests, is intensified. Malaysia, which enters into the number of rapidly developing states of the region, is one of the reliable partners of our country.

Torch of Cultural Heritage

The new book Hakyda göwheri by Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about the diverse and rich historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people is the focus of attention of the general public of our country and foreign readers. It is some kind of continuation of not only the previous works of the Hero-Arkadag, but also the book of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Anau – Culture Originated from the Millennia published in March this year. The National Leader presented the first copy of his new book to Arkadagly Hero Serdar. Speaking about its content, Arkadag noted it elaborates on the materials about the influence of the works of Magtymguly Pyragy on universal values, our glorious history and the contribution of our national culture to world civilisation. Our country, situated in the heart of the Great Silk Road, is experiencing historical transformations. Whatever era we considered, obviously, Turkmen culture had always been known all over the world for its unique heritage and had a huge influence on the history of humankind, the Hero-Arkadag emphasised.

Results of the Competition “Merdana Nesil-2024” Announced

The ceremony of announcing and awarding the winners of the annual competition “Merdana Nesil” took place in the square in front of the Watan cinema and concert centre in Ashgabat. This competition that is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education and the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organisation for several years is held on the eve of the significant date on the calendar – International Neutrality Day and the next, this time 29th anniversary of the day our country obtained the international legal status of permanent neutrality. The participants of the competition, aimed at fostering patriotism and improving the depth of study into the rich spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people by the younger generation, are 3rd- and 5th-graders, exclusively schoolboys, which is not accidental. They, as future defenders of the Motherland, competed in a worthy manner, demonstrating the high patriotic feeling, spotlighted by their bright performances.
