State Committee for physical culture and sports of Turkmenistan established

«7/24. tm», № 44 (127), 31.10. 2022 On October 20, 2022, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution On the establishment of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan. In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan ceased its activities, and the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports was established instead of it. The Resolutions of the President of Turkmenistan approved the Regulations on the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan and the structure of the Central Office of the Committee.

Great progress is being made in the field of sports along with other spheres in our beloved Motherland. The love for sports is increasing in our country under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The human health is at the root of all values. Good health can be achieved mainly through doing sports and physical exercises. Physical culture provides physical and mental health, improves it, and develops creative abilities. Thus, promotional events are held to popularize the principles of a healthy lifestyle among young people and to attract the society to mass sports. The experience gained by the younger generations in the field of sports and physical culture is revealed in practice thanks to the national sports events.

Turkmen paralympic athletes continue to compete for slots in Paris 2024 Paralympic ames

«7/24. tm», № 43 (126), 24.10. 2022 The delegation of the National Paralympic Committee of Turkmenistan, led by Head Coach in Para Powerlifting, Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan Tahyr Shorahanov, came back from Georgia, where it performed at the World Para Powerlifting European Open Championships together with 30 participating nations. These competitions are the mandatory qualifying event of the second stage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Our athletes won 5 medals: 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.

World Youth, Junior and Cadets SAMBO Championships in Yerevan has ended

For three days, cadets, youth and juniors from 23 countries fought for the opportunity to rise to the coveted podium in Armenia. In total, about 500 athletes took part in the main continental sambo tournament.

Education is the beginning of perfection

Impressive work is underway to educate the physically and mentally healthy, smart young people and perfect professionals at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. The professors and lecturers of the Institute contribute to the environmental safety and innovations in science and production promoted by the state. They do their best to provide students with the education that meets the international standards. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted at the VII Congress of Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan that he considers the youth to be the builders of the future of our beloved Motherland. Our happy young people work hard to implement the national and state programmes in different sectors of economy. The President of Turkmenistan expressed great confidence in younger generations and emphasized that he saw great progress of our Motherland in the youth. A draft version of the Law of Turkmenistan on the State Youth Policy was adopted at the Congress. This Law ensures the strong support of the state for young people to strengthen their position in society and for their excellent education.

Importance of digital education

The access to the highest achievements of the digital system has resulted in strengthening the material and technical base for the development of the digital system in our country under the leadership of our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The Concept of Developing the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan and the Concept of Teaching of Foreign Languages in Turkmenistan were adopted in September 2017 to define the stages of implementing the goals, tasks, and areas for developing the digital education. This fact demonstrates that achievements in education are linked to digitization. To date, the introduction of digital technologies into the scientific and education systems reveals the continuity of the work conducted in the field of education of young students in line with international standards.

The Law of Turkmenistan on Physical Culture and Sports establishes the basic principles in the field of physical education and sports, regulates public relations, and determines the legal, organizational, economic, and social foundations of actions in the country. The main goals of the Law are to create the necessary conditions for effective use of physical culture and sports for a healthy lifestyle of the Turkmen people, to develop the legislature in this area, to ensure that the citizens of Turkmenistan engage in physical education and sports on a regular basis and spend their leisure time usefully, as well as to improve the human health and prevent diseases. It should be noted that the mass physical culture events are very popular in our country, and the number of our compatriots who follow the principles of a healthy lifestyle increases day by day in the revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.

The 2023 world sambo championships will be held in Egypt, world beach sambo championships – in the Dominican republic

«7/24. tm», № 42 (125), 17.10. 2022 Championships in 2023. The competitions of the strongest sambists of the planet will be held in this country on November 10-12. The corresponding decision was made by members of the Executive Committee of the International SAMBO Federation. In turn, the Dominican Republic will host the World Beach SAMBO Championships in August. Also, decisions were made on the time and place of a number of other competitions.

Korean sambist proves that sambo is stronger than any other martial arts kaleidoscope
