Döwlet Maslahaty Held under the Chairmanship of the President of Turkmenistan in the Capital The Döwlet Maslahaty, timed to coincide with the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, was held under the chairmanship of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Ruhiyet Palace in the capital city. The agenda of the Nationwide Forum, which became a significant event in the life of the Motherland, included summing up the results achieved over the past period and discussing priority tasks for the further comprehensive development of the country.

The transport-communication system: development of mutually beneficial co-operation

Being loyal to peace-loving, positive Neutrality and foreign policy trend based on fruitful international co-operation traditions, on the problem of mutual relations, including within the limits of the UNO and other authoritative organizations occupying the active position our state of Turkmenistan puts forward initiatives on creating numerous many branched modern transport structure in the regional and transcontinental scale. In this connection it should be noted that on the 15-16th of August the International Forum organized by the transport ministers of the Developing States which have no the sea exit and other interested parties was held under the patronage of the UNO in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone. On the initiative of Turkmenistan the authoritative regional and inter-regional organizations, the representatives of about 40 states and of more than 30 international organizations took part in this Forum held under patronage of the UNO. As it is known the initiative of holding this forum in our country was put forward by Turkmenistan and it was confirmed by the Decree of the General Assembly of the UNO adopted in 2021.

The President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting via a digital system

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov supervising the agro-industrial complex, and khyakims of the velayats to discuss the state of affairs in the agro-industrial complex, the progress of seasonal field work in the regions, as well as preparations for the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the country’s sacred independence. First, the floor was given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the pace of the cotton harvest in the region, the efforts being made to gather the grown cotton crop within the optimal timeframe and without losses, defoliation, and ensuring the smooth operation of combines and other machines.

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who had arrived in Samarkand as a guest of honour at the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, met with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping. Warmly greeting his Turkmen counterpart, the leader of the friendly state congratulated him on his convincing victory in the presidential elections on March 12 this year and sincerely wished him every success in his large-scale activities in the highest state position.

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who had arrived in Samarkand to participate as a guest of honour in the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), met with the Secretary-General of this international organisation Zhang Ming. The President of Turkmenistan conducts a working meeting via the digital system

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov and the hyakims of the velayats, at which they discussed the state of affairs in the agroindustrial complex and ongoing comprehensive measures to organise seasonal agricultural work in the regions. The first to speak was the Ahal Velayat Hyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the progress of sowing wheat and preparations for harvesting “white gold” in the fields of the region. At the same time, much attention is paid to the readiness of procurement points, ginneries, combine harvesters and other agricultural machinery for the season.

On the instructions of the President of the country, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov acquainted himself with the state of affairs in the Avaza national tourism zone. There, on the initiative of Arkadag, a man-made river, which contributed to the formation of a climate favourable for human health in the resort area, was created. This is another evidence that all-round care for the health and good rest of citizens is a priority of the state policy.

The President of Turkmenistan acquainted himself with the situation at new construction sites of the capital

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov flew around the capital city, acquainting himself from the helicopter with the complex work, being carried out there, and with projects for further improving the social infrastructure of Ashgabat. During the flight, the head of state paid close attention to the state of affairs at urban construction sites, the implementation of large-scale reforms, aimed at the dynamic socioeconomic development of the capital, and the measures taken to improve its environmental conditions.
