In accordance with the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in order to hold talks on the bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, meetings between the heads of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation, as well as political consultations between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, as well as to participate in the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States and sign documents on cooperation with representatives of state institutions of the Russian Federation, the delegation of Turkmenistan was sent to the city of Moscow, the Russian Federation on March 30 - April 2. * * *

For social support of growing generation, assistance in health rehabilitation of children requiring custody as well as for making favorable conditions for their happy life, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed Resolution according to which the charity fund for support of children requiring custody has been founded as a legal entity, structure and staffing table of the above-mentioned fund, which would be located in the complex of buildings of International Congress Center of Turkmenistan along Chandybil Avenue, have been approved. During the last session of the Government, the head of the state has informed about his intent to be the first to make donation from his earnings to this charity fund, having said that all fellow countrymen who wish to help such children would be able to donate from their income.

President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan sent a message to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. “We highly appreciate your interest in developing bilateral cooperation and in this regard, once again express our commitment to strengthen these special relations in order to bring them to a higher level of partnership in various fields”, the President of the United Arab Emirates says in his message.

Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour sent a message to the President of Turkmenistan, expressing gratitude for the participation in the 14th ECO Summit “Regional Economic Cooperation in the aftermath of COVID-19” held on March 4, 2021.  “I highly appreciate the views and important comments expressed by Your Excellency during the Summit, which, I believe, will guide ECO in its future activities.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has sent his congratulations to Mr. Sadyr Japarov on taking office as President of the Kyrgyz Republic. In his congratulatory message, the head of Turkmenistan noted that our countries are linked by centuries-old ties of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness, and the high level of trust and mutual understanding that exists between the nations provides a solid foundation for the constructive bilateral cooperation.

This is a colossal power leading our Motherland to new heights of progress”, - the message says.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has extended his deep condolences to President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo following the Sriwijaya Air passenger airplane crash that claimed many lives. On behalf of the nation, the Government of Turkmenistan and personally, the President of Turkmenistan expressed heartfelt sympathy and support to the bereaved families at this difficult time.

On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan as well as personally, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has extended sincere congratulations to Mr. Joseph Biden on occasion of his election to the post of the President of the United States of America. In his message, the Head of the State note that Turkmenistan highly appreciates current level of relations with the United States of America and pays special attention to further expansion of bilateral cooperation based on traditional principles of equality, mutual respect and protection of common interests.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed congratulations and best wishes to Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Taking this opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan wished the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain good health, happiness and great success in responsible state activity in the name of peace, well-being and prosperity of the fraternal people of Bahrain.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed condolences to President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the victims in the earthquake in Izmir that caused numerous casualties, the injured and widespread destruction. On behalf of the Turkmen people, the Government and on his own behalf, the President of Turkmenistan expressed the words of deep empathy and support at this difficult moment to the families, relatives and friends of the victims, as well as the wishes for speedy recovery to the injured.
