The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the 10th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organisation of Turkic States. Before leaving for Astana, at the International Airport of the capital, the Hero-Arkadag talked with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Askar Tazhibayev. During the conversation, the traditionally friendly nature of the interstate dialogue and progressive dynamics in a wide range of areas were noted. As it was emphasised, our countries interact effectively in both bilateral and multilateral formats. The diplomat wished the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty a successful visit to Kazakhstan and participation in the OTS Summit.

The meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular meeting of the State Security Council. Its agenda included the outcome of work carried out by military and law enforcement bodies for ten months of the current year, foremost important tasks for ensuring security and peace in independent neutral fatherland, further strengthening of the material and technical basis of security forces and improvement of their activity. B.Gundogdyev, Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence was the first to report on practical measures taken for the period under review with a view of implementation of the program for development of the armed forces, introduction of digital system in structural units and improvement of qualifications of officers. The information on the course of transfer from the armed forces to the reserve and next draft campaign of citizens of Turkmenistan to the military service was also delivered.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims. The agenda included issues related to development of the agricultural complex, as well as the progress of work in the regions of the country. The word was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.
