The meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan
Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular meeting of the State Security Council. Its agenda included the outcome of work carried out by military and law enforcement bodies for ten months of the current year, foremost important tasks for ensuring security and peace in independent neutral fatherland, further strengthening of the material and technical basis of security forces and improvement of their activity. B.Gundogdyev, Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence was the first to report on practical measures taken for the period under review with a view of implementation of the program for development of the armed forces, introduction of digital system in structural units and improvement of qualifications of officers. The information on the course of transfer from the armed forces to the reserve and next draft campaign of citizens of Turkmenistan to the military service was also delivered.
