The 2021 best national football personalities

The Football Federation of Turkmenistan has announced the results of the 2021 football season. The sports journalists and representatives of the football clubs took part in the voting organized by the Federation. As a result of the voting, Elman Tagaev, a midfielder of the Ahal FC, was named the best player. It should be noted that E.Tagaev was the top scorer (10 goals) in the 2021 Football Championship of Turkmenistan.

Elman Tagayev – AFC cup top goal scorer

«Türkmenistan Sport», № 4, 2021 The midfielder of the Turkmenistan national team and Ahal FC Elman Tagayev has become the top goal scorer in the AFC Cup this season. The staffs of the 7/24 e-supplement of Türkmenistan Sport International Magazine and the Football Federation of Turkmenistan conducted rigorous analysis of the performance of the Ahal half-defender and calculated that he had scored 5 goals in 3 games. This means that his success rate is 1.6661.66 in each game (5/3). This is the best result of the season.

Shagadam is on the winning path

The Shagadam FC has won the 40th victory in the history of the Football Cup of Turkmenistan. The 40th victory brought the second Cup to the team. The Shagadam FC has played 92 matches in total so far in the second-tier football tournament of our country. The club has 40 wins, 18 draws and 34 losses.

It should be noted that the Turkmen sport is developed at the international level. This process includes promotion of peace through sports. To date, Turkmenistan has gained international recognition as the country that has the opportunity to host large sports events. Being citizens of an independent country, the Turkmen athletes compete in international tournaments under our national flag. This fact indicates that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to creation of a solid sports base, to development of the mass physical culture and sports movement, and high-level sports, and to promotion of the principles of a healthy lifestyle among people, especially the youth.
